My family and I were visiting Redondo Beach & decided to eat here. We were not disappointed. From the minute we walked in, we felt totally attended and welcomed and not once did they slack in customer service. Our food was very delicious. The guacamole, the salsa trio & all of our plates had their own flavor. Recommend this place if you're looking for a good & solid Mexican meal with amazing customer service!

This is a great local restaurant for all things Mexican food. They have a wide assortment of options on their menu, The tacos are a good size and I'm usually good with just an order of two. The platillos are pretty filling. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and tender meats. They have a nice covered outdoor seating area as well as a spacious interior. The service is always very quick and friendly. They also have a small parking lot in the back for convenience.

This place is a great week night date spot if you are craving good mexican food. It's so much better than some of the other mexican restaurants near by that may be more popular. "wink wink" Split the queso fundido and I really like the shrimp tacos! Fast and attentive service!

While driving around the area, we got hungry so we decided to stop. We were really craving Mexican food so decided to stop by since we have passed this restaurant quite a few times. Our waitress and waiter were great. They were friendly and welcomed us to their place. The restaurant wasn't too packed on a Saturday afternoon. The dining area was really nice and clean. There are plenty of areas to be seated. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas plate with rice and beans. Everything tasted great. I think the carnitas were my favorite out of both plates. The rice and beans were authentic and cooked perfectly. Lots of good food on the menu so we will be back if we are in the area. We want to go back for their signature molcajete so hopefully it will be soon.

Great food. What's that you say? I couldn't hear you. Great food? YES, GREAT FOOD. Oh, that's what I thought you said. I'm sorry, but I don't read lips. Next time, try sign language. Yep, it's that loud in the restaurant. Maderos means "timber/logs" in English. They should peel the bark off a few of those logs and plaster it to the walls. It would deaden the noise a bit. I've got to tell you, my ears are still ringing! No kidding. The food is outstanding. Very flavorful, and they give you quite a bit. I especially enjoyed the guacamole and the salsas. That, along with a cold beer, makes for a perfect lead in to your selected entree. My selection was an asada burrito. Absolutely delicious. It arrived at the table hot and covered in a mild red sauce. Its subtle flavor danced the salsa on my tongue. I could almost hear the accompanying maracas. Oh, wait a minute, that's still the ringing in my ears. Almost made for a poetic verse, huh? You'll enjoy your food even though you won't be able to enjoy the conversation. Quick Tip: Go early. The place can fill up quickly. However, if you're in there ahead of the crowd, be aware that those folks who followed you in, parked their cars where you had plenty of space prior to park yours. Now, not so much. It'll be a squeeze play. Be sure to follow the arrows to exit. Don't do what I did and go out the way in. The guy who was yelling at me didn't realize it, but he was preparing his lungs for the noise gauntlet inside. ENJOY YOUR MEAL!!

This is a family-owned Mexican restaurant on PCH in Redondo Beach. The first time we ate here was for my husband's birthday. We sat outside in their covered patio. It was comfortable, but a little noisy with traffic whizzing by on busy PCH. We sat inside the next time we visited. Both times, we were greeted promptly and served complimentary chips and a trio of salsas. Believe me when I tell you that these chips are addicting. I had their fried fish both times and others had their combo meals. Portions were generous and prices fair. I hear there's happy hour during weeknights. Free parking in their lot that they share with another business.
